Developing leaders in ASEAN is a theme that is central to HCLI’s mandate. In our quest to understand leadership development to the next level of detail, we interviewed 72 senior leaders across six ASEAN countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. We investigated the developmental experiences that proved most valuable in enabling senior executives to lead successfully in Southeast Asia. Our ultimate objective was to help organisations invest in leadership development initiatives that truly matter to building their next-gen leaders for this region.
